Remember your dreams, games, activities and hobbies that really captured and inspired you. You can write them down on paper. Look at them. It can be one or several hobbies at once. In my case, it was a dream to associate myself with literature. By the age of 40, I managed to work in different areas and in each I reached a certain stage of development, when there is nowhere else to go or I don’t want to. But I have never been associated with books, magazines and blogs.

Only to those who will not make fun of you or say: “Well, what kind of nonsense did you come up with ?!” They may be able to give you useful advice or recommend a friend in the field. The time has come when it has become fashionable to share experience and knowledge on your blogs - find something that will help you open up in the desired area. Read, listen, watch and chat! Something will resonate with you, something you will immediately forget.

Remember that almost any skill can and should be trained. I listened to several webinars and realized what I don’t want to write about exactly and what is really close to me. It turned out that there are not only forums and conferences, but even step-by-step instructions "How to write and publish your first book." I went to meet one of my favorite writers. It inspired me to follow my dream.

Try not to think about what you can't do. Fear is normal, we are all afraid of something, but remember that you are the master of your life, and do not let fear destroy your dream. You can start implementing it little by little, no need to quit your job or forget about family responsibilities. It is helpful to prioritize and set aside a certain amount of time per day or per week for the dream.

I just started writing something like a diary on a certain topic. Sometimes every day, sometimes every other day or two. And over time, it became easier for me to write and formulate thoughts, the plot and the general idea began to emerge. I take great pleasure in these hours. This is my own little world. I began to smile much more, I had more strength and energy for everything else.
