Job Purpose: We are seeking a Technical Specialist to join our team, responsible for undertaking first call response for Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, and Automatic Pedestrian Gates in designated stores.
Location - Oxford
Key Accountabilities:
* Carrying out maintenance and repairs in accordance with customer KPIs
* Ensuring all planned and reactive works are carried out as per contractual obligations
* Completing PPM works within agreed timescales and ensuring accurate paperwork is completed
* Responding promptly to service call requests during normal hours and on call
* Ordering parts and ensuring prompt fitment
* Completing all performance measurement paperwork and participating in surveys
* Communicating regularly with the Duty Manager on store visits to advise on repair and maintenance issues
* Ensuring availability and serviceability of tools and equipment
* Carrying out required Fire PPM visits and ensuring fire alarm systems are in compliance with BS 5839
* Being aware of applicable regulations and codes of practice
* Notifying the helpdesk of task conditions on cessation of works
* Carrying out surveys and completing reports as required by the supervisor/technical specialist
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
* Knowledge of CCTV IP/analogue systems
* Knowledge of Fire alarm systems
* PC literate
